Tradepack Ltd (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting the personal data of visitors to tradepack.uk and of the trade customers we work with. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have. It should be read alongside our Cookie Policy.
Who we are
Tradepack Ltd, 9A Windover Court, Windover Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE29 7EA. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at info@tradepack.uk.
What we collect and why
Quote requests and enquiries. When you submit our quote form or email us, we collect your name, company, email address, telephone number and the details of your packaging requirement. We use this to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and, if you become a customer, to manage the supply relationship. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where a contract follows, performance of that contract.
Website usage data. With your consent, we use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. See the Cookie Policy for details and how to withdraw consent.
Security and spam prevention. Our quote form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics to distinguish genuine submissions from automated abuse. This is processed under our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is retained for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return to it. Customer records are retained for the duration of the trading relationship and for the period required by tax and company law thereafter.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. Enquiries are delivered to our business email system, which is hosted by Microsoft. Our website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare. These providers process data on our behalf under their own data processing terms. We may share data where required by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@tradepack.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
