Cardboard Inserts

Die-cut corrugated inserts, dividers and fitments that hold product in place through storage and shipping.

Die-cut corrugated inserts for product retention during storage and shipping

An insert does the job that void fill cannot: it locates the product, keeps it away from the walls of the box and stops it moving in transit. Die-cut corrugated inserts do that with the same material as the outer, which simplifies recycling and often lowers cost against foam or moulded pulp.

What we make

  • Die-cut fitments cut and creased to cradle a specific product.
  • Slotted dividers for bottles, jars, tins and multi-item kits.
  • Layer pads and end caps for stacked and palletised goods.
  • Corner and edge protectors for furniture, frames and panels.

Engineered, not guessed

Inserts are designed in CAD against the product’s actual dimensions and weight. Where the product is fragile, the design builds in air gaps and crumple zones. Samples are cut on our digital flatbed for fit and drop testing before tooling.

Supplied how you need them

Inserts can be supplied flat for assembly on the packing bench, pre-assembled, or designed and manufactured together with the outer case as one specification, so that fit is guaranteed on every repeat order.

FAQ

Inserts questions

Can corrugated inserts replace foam or plastic fitments?

In most transit applications, yes. Die-cut corrugated fitments can be engineered to cushion and retain product to a similar standard, and they recycle in the same stream as the outer box.

Do you supply inserts with the outer box?

We can supply inserts alone to fit your customer's existing case, or design and manufacture the outer and insert together as one specification.
